Making Your Husband a Better Man
1) Start with a generous portion of respect.
2) Add sprinkles of encouragement.
3) Add two cups full of cheerfulness.
4) Bake until well done with a good sex life.

- A father has an amazing amount of influence on their children and who they turn out to be.
- A wife has an amazing influence on making their husband a better man. It all begins with the family unit and then affects our community, our town, our state, our nation, our world. But it starts on the family level.
Psalms 128:1-21Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.Psalms 128:1-2 (KJV)
- By walking in God’s ways, we can have a happy life. We have so much information in the world today that tells how we are supposed to live and act, but it is God’s ways that brings happiness and blessings. It is important for both husband’s and wives to know what God’s ways are for them concerning their spouse. If they do that, the whole family is blessed and happy.

- In this verse, it means to respect your husband.
Titus 2:55To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.Titus 2:5 (KJV)
- This is not a popular verse, but if you want the Bible way of happiness and blessing, then you have to obey the Bible. This does not mean the husband is the dictator of the house. God made us equal in value but not equal in ability.
- To prevent conflict in the home, there has to be a leader. The abilities God gave to the man are specifically designed to make him a leader. As that leader, he has a responsibility to the entire family. God wants the wife to support and respect her husband and the role that God has placed him in. That will make him a better man and leader in the home.
- Women are natural multi-taskers and can do a lot at once. Men are more focused on 1 thing at a time. Primarily the husband focuses on being a protector and provider. Husbands have a huge responsibility to take care of his family. By getting respect from his wife, it empowers him to do so much better as that leader.

2) Add sprinkles of encouragement. -Top
1 Peter 3:1-21IN LIKE manner, you married women, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate yourselves as being secondary to and dependent on them, and adapt yourselves to them], so that even if any do not obey the Word [of God], they may be won over not by discussion but by the [godly] lives of their wives,2When they observe the pure and modest way in which you conduct yourselves, together with your reverence [for your husband; you are to feel for him all that reverence includes: to respect, defer to, revere him-to honor, esteem, appreciate, prize, and, in the human sense, to adore him, that is, to admire, praise, be devoted to, deeply love, and enjoy your husband].1 Peter 3:1-2 (AMP)
- The words that a wife speaks into her husbands life form and shape who a man becomes. A wife needs to speak words that inspire her husband. She does not need to tear him down.
- By praising, esteeming, honoring, respecting, and appreciating their husbands, wives can really make him a better man. That can give him confidence and encouragement that will make him do even better. He needs his wife’s encouragement and praise. She can absolutely make him a better man just by what she says to him.
3) Add two cups full of cheerfulness. -Top

- God expects us to control our emotions. It makes a great difference when being a cheerful person rather than someone who can’t control their emotions. Use your words to change your attitude. Speak cheerfulness into your own life.

- A cheerful environment does a happy home make. Make your husband want to come home because you are happy and cheerful.

4) Bake until well done with a good sex life. -Top
- There is nothing wrong with saying sex in church. It is in many places in the Bible whether you know it or not. It is something that God gave us in marriage.
1 Corinthians 7:4-54The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.5Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.1 Corinthians 7:5 (KJV)
- One of the motivating factors for men to get married was the promise of a sexual relationship. It is Biblical to not withhold sex, either for the man or the woman.
- Men are motivated by sight while women are motivated by emotional and relational experiences. That is why men have no problem going to prostitutes. They don’t care about any emotional attachment. Women want to have a relationship first.
