A timeline from the millennial reign to eternity.

1) It begins with a battle and ends in victory for Christ and the saints.
2) Jesus Christ becomes King over the world.
3) Saints will be given authority over the nations.
4) Israel repents and mourns for rejecting Jesus.
5) David will be King over Israel.
6) Apostles will reign over the 12 tribes.
7) Long physical life will be restored on earth.
8)Animals will not kill each other or hurt humans.”
9) Satan will be loosed for a short time – rebels destroyed.
10) Great white throne judgement of the wicked.
11) Earth renovated by fire.
12) New heavens and new earth.

• We don’t have to be afraid of anything that is to come in the end times because the greater one lives in us.
• God has not given us a spirit of fear.  He gave us spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

• There will be a time of trouble.
• We as the body of Christ, are the restraining force in the world.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8

7For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until he who restrains is taken out of the way.

8And then the lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by His appearing at His coming.

• We are the ones that are keeping the antichrist from starting his attempt to rule the world.  He can’t do it as long as we are here.
• There will be a sudden event when we will be taken.

Zechariah 14:1-3

• There will be people that survive the battle at then end of the tribulation period.  Those people will be able to stay on earth during the millennium.
• This will be the first day of the millennial reign.

4) Israel repents and mourns for rejecting Jesus. -TOP

7) Long physical life will be restored on earth. -TOP

Isaiah 65:20-22

9) Satan will be loosed for a short time – rebels destroyed. -TOP

Revelation 20:1-3

1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

• At the end of the thousand years and after satan is bound, he will be let loose.
• There will be millions born in the millennium that were never tempted by the devil.  They never had the opportunity to reject God or have free will to choose to believe in Christ.
• When Satan is loosed, there will be a time when people will have a free will to either choose Christ or be deceived by the devil just like all of us who have lived until now.

7And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

• There will be many that are deceived and follow satan into battle against the saints, but they will be defeated.
• The devil is going to come up with some lie that many are going to believe and be deceived.

10) Great white throne judgement of the wicked. -TOP

• After the battle at the end of the millennium, all people who ever lived, except for the glorified saints, will be brought to this judgement.
• The earth is evacuated during this time.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

11) Earth renovated by fire. -TOP

• The tree of life is most likely for the ones that survived and never followed satan and did not get the glorified bodies.
• This is our eternity in the new heaven and earth.
