1) At the return of Christ to earth, the saints come with Him; we don't meet Him in the air. (#point1)
2) Jesus promised believers Heaven. (#point2)
3) We restrain evil and darkness as long as we are here! (#point3)

Revelation 2:26
26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Revelation 2:26 (KJV)

	* It is important for us to keep on living, speaking, and doing His works.

1 John 4:3-4
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:3-4 (KJV)

	* Through Christ, we have already overcome. God made a covenant with us that he will not break. He is faithful to keep his promises. We are of God, so we don’t have to worry as overcomers.
	* We are the seed of Abraham through Christ, so as long as we are here, we will be victorious.

Matthew 16:18
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18 (KJV)

	* Hell has no chance of overcoming the church of God.

1 Corinthians 10:32
32Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:
1 Corinthians 10:32 (KJV)

	* In the end times, God deals with 3 people groups, the Jews, the Gentiles, and the Christians. As Christians, we are the redeemed ones through Christ.

Matthew 24:21-22
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:21-22 (KJV)

	* During the tribulation, all hell will break loose. Part of the reason is because the restraint in the world, the Christians, will be gone.
	* This will be a time when God’s judgement and wrath are poured out on the earth.

Romans 5:9
9Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:9 (KJV)

	* As Christians, we will avoid His wrath of the tribulation.
	* When the Bible talks about the coming of the Lord, it is 2 separate events. One is when He meets us in the air, and the other is when he returns to earth.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (KJV)

	* These verses are referring to the catching away when all Christians, dead or alive, will be changed and take on our new bodies and meet the Lord in the air. This will include all Christians who believed and accepted Christ as their Saviour at any time in history.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52
51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,</itunes:summary>

3 Signs of the End of Days We Must Overcome

1) Deception (#point1)
2) Self centeredness and self indulgence (#point2)
3) Fear and worry (#point3)

Revelation 2:26
26And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Revelation 2:26 (KJV)

Matthew 16:18
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18 (KJV)

1 John 4:3-4
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1 John 4:3 (KJV)
4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1 John 4:4 (KJV)

	* The spirit of antichrist is in the world. We can all see that. We are not trying to overcome them because we have authority, and we, as the church, are already victorious and have already overcome.
	* If anyone needs to run, its the devil.
	* For signs of the times, we need to see what the Bible says and not try to make the headlines conform to the Bible.

3 signs of the end of days we must overcome

1) Deception - TOP (#top)

Matthew 24:1-14
1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:1-14 (KJV)

	* The word deceive is used in 3 different verses in this passage in verses 4, 5, and 11. One of the things working in the world through antichrist today is the spirit of deception.
	* Deceive is the Greek word Planao which means: to roam from safety, truth, or virtue; go astray, deceive or seduce.

1 Timothy 4:1
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV)

	* Paul is trying to make clear that their are going to be spirits of deception in the last days that are going to try to seduce people through intellectualism, philosophy, science, etc. to make people deny the truth which is the Word of God.

Ephesians 6:13-14
13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Ephesians 6:13-14 (KJV)

<itunes:summary>The sixth part of Pastor Allen's Redeemed series

1) Maybe my sickness is a thorn in the flesh like Paul had? (#point1)
2) God may want me sick for His glory? (#point2)
3) Maybe sickness is God chastening me? (#point3)
Galatians 3:13
13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
Galatians 3:13 (KJV)

	* We are redeemed from the curse which is explicitly listed in the following verse.

Deuteronomy 28:61
61Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
Deuteronomy 28:61 (KJV)

	* All sickness is a curse.

1 Peter 2:24
24Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV)

	* Jesus demonstrated God's will.

John 6:38
38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
John 6:38 (KJV)
John 14:9
9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
John 14:9 (KJV)

	* All you have to do is look at Jesus ministry and you can see God and His will. Never did Jesus tell someone that it was not God's will for them to be healed.

Acts 10:38
38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:38 (KJV)

	* Jesus did what was good and healing is good. God only does good.

1) Maybe my sickness is a thorn in the flesh like Paul had? - TOP (#top)

	* A lot of Christians think that sickness is their thorn in the flesh or their cross to bear. Here is where they get that from.

2 Corinthians 12:7-9
7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
2 Corinthians 12:7 (KJV)

	* In this verse, "thorn in the flesh" is a metaphor.

2 Corinthians 12:8 -9
8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 (KJV)

	* This thorn is always referring to people and never is it talking about sickness and disease. He even tells us that it is a messenger, not some ailment. In the Bible, the original Greek word that is translated messenger is found 188 times in the New Testament, and 180 times it is translated angel, and the other 8 it translates messenger. In one translation it says angel of the devil. It is a an evil spirit.

	* Paul mentions in 2 Corinthians 11 all of the trials that he goes through. He mentions shipwrecked, beatings, stonings, etc. He never once mentions sickness and disease as all of his hardships. Don't you think that if he was facing sickness he would have mentioned among all his troubles? The messenger of satan is his thorn in the flesh.

	* The old testament scriptures below refer to thorns, and it says they are people.

Numbers 33:55
55But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Numbers 33:55 (KJV)
Joshua 23:13
13Know for a certainty that the LORD your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes,</itunes:summary>

Making Your Husband a Better Man

1) Start with a generous portion of respect. (#Point1)
2) Add sprinkles of encouragement. (#Point2)
3) Add two cups full of cheerfulness. (#Point3)
4) Bake until well done with a good sex life. (#Point4)

Proverbs 17:6
6Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.
Proverbs 17:6 (KJV)

	* A father has an amazing amount of influence on their children and who they turn out to be.
	* A wife has an amazing influence on making their husband a better man. It all begins with the family unit and then affects our community, our town, our state, our nation, our world. But it starts on the family level.

Psalms 128:1-2
1Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
Psalms 128:1-2 (KJV)

	* By walking in God's ways, we can have a happy life. We have so much information in the world today that tells how we are supposed to live and act, but it is God's ways that brings happiness and blessings. It is important for both husband's and wives to know what God's ways are for them concerning their spouse. If they do that, the whole family is blessed and happy.

1) Start with a generous portion of respect. -Top (#top)

Ephesians 5:33
33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Ephesians 5:33 (KJV)

	* In this verse, it means to respect your husband.

Titus 2:5
5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Titus 2:5 (KJV)

	* This is not a popular verse, but if you want the Bible way of happiness and blessing, then you have to obey the Bible. This does not mean the husband is the dictator of the house. God made us equal in value but not equal in ability.
	* To prevent conflict in the home, there has to be a leader. The abilities God gave to the man are specifically designed to make him a leader. As that leader, he has a responsibility to the entire family. God wants the wife to support and respect her husband and the role that God has placed him in. That will make him a better man and leader in the home.
	* Women are natural multi-taskers and can do a lot at once. Men are more focused on 1 thing at a time. Primarily the husband focuses on being a protector and provider. Husbands have a huge responsibility to take care of his family. By getting respect from his wife, it empowers him to do so much better as that leader.

Proverbs 31:12
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:12 (KJV)

2) Add sprinkles of encouragement. -Top (#top)

1 Peter 3:1-2
1IN LIKE manner, you married women, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate yourselves as being secondary to and dependent on them, and adapt yourselves to them], so that even if any do not obey the Word [of God], they may be won over not by discussion but by the [godly] lives of their wives,
2When they observe the pure and modest way in which you conduct yourselves, together with your reverence [for your husband; you are to feel for him all that reverence includes: to respect, defer to, revere him-to honor, esteem, appreciate, prize, and, in the human sense, to adore him, that is, to admire, praise, be devoted to, deeply love, and enjoy your husband].
1 Peter 3:1-2 (AMP)

	* The words that a wife speaks into her husbands life form and shape who a man becomes. A wife needs to speak words that inspire her husband. She does not need to tear him down.
	* By praising, esteeming, honoring, respecting, and appreciating their husbands, wives can really make him a better man.</itunes:summary>
